CNA(certified nurses assistant)-cleans shit does dirty work
LPN or LVN(licensed practical nurse)- step above a cna but these are usually found in nursing homes now to save money over hiring rn's
RN(Registered nurse)- does everything
NP(nurse practitioner)- like a doctor. sometimes answers to a doctor for final decisions, but in some states is allowed to practice independently
CRNA(certified registered nurse anesthetist)- basically an anesthesiologist. the majority of people are put under for surgery by one of these nurses and didn't realize it was a nurse
